Description:

The House prides itself on doing a few thigns very well. From the time you step out of the taxi and onto the lush drive, it's easy to see what those few things are. The staff at The House is what truly puts the Hotel above any other on the island. Bags are checked for you, check-in is completed immediately and drinks are waiting to welcome you to the hotel.

While the hotel doesn't offer 24 hour check-in, this is hardly a downside. Because the hotel operates on an "If you want it, we will find it for you" basis, there is no request that the staff won't jump to accommodate. Table for two at the best restaurant on the island? That's easy - Daphne's adjoins the property and the management is happy to arrange it for you. It's the staff at The House that truly makes the place impeccable - they're willing to do anything to make you happy. The rooms at the hotel overlook both the gardens and the ocean, and the staff is always on-hand to provide whatever a guest needs to enjoy themselves.

The rooms at The House are spacious and understated, with muted colors that have a calming effect which guests will appreciate after a long day on the bustling roads of Barbados. Meals can be provided en-suite, but perhaps the best recommendation that can be made for the hotel is to enjoy one of their beach dinners. These dinners are served on the beach, overlooking Payne's Bay, on one of the most secluded white sand beaches one could ever hope to find. More than any other hotel on the island, The House allows you to make your stay exactly what you want it to be. Guests can be as active or as cut off from the world as they like, and while the hotel encourages guests to mingle and interact with one-another, they don't push it. Guests seem to simply "run-into" one another at the most opportune moments, allowing them to enjoy an impromptu drink or a gourmet dinner with another couple who may just become lifelong friends.
